The Japanese product name, "Ori-Sauce," derives from the word ori (meaning "lees" or "sediment") - the natural deposits that settle during the sauce's aging process. It is highly recommended as a secret ingredient to enhance curry rice, or as a perfect accompaniment to meat dishes such as spare ribs.
