These fragrant magnolia leaves have been processed to preserve their just-harvested freshness. Treated with saltwater, boiled, and vacuum-sealed, they can be stored at room temperature for extended periods while unopened. In addition to sushi, please use them as a decorative garnish placed beneath a wide variety of dishes and ingredients (the leaves themselves are not edible).
Before use, rinse both the front and back of the leaves with water, then wipe away any moisture with a cloth. Please store at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight and high temperatures.
